The new House
A new, bigger, better Ronald McDonald House.
Our current Ronald McDonald House acommodates 12 families of children receiving treatment at Wellington Hospital. The new, bigger House will allow us to extend this hospitality to 34 families at a time.
We've purchased the land adjacent to the current House, just a short walk from Wellington Hospital. The plans have been drawn up and resource consent granted.
In building the new House, we aim to create a home-like environment. The interior will be bright, light and homely, and we'll cater for different families' needs and wants as much as we can.
But a project of this magnitude costs over $14 million and we still need to raise $9.5 million. We need your help. No matter how much or how little, every dollar counts.
