Every week Kiwi families suddenly find themselves in this very position, and when the going gets tough they need a place to turn to for support and love.
Ronald McDonald House provides that much needed, temporary home-away-from-home for families from outside Wellington whose children are receiving treatment in Wellington.
Children with life threathening conditions need more than good medical care. They need their loved ones close by for comfort and reassurance.
Over the past five years, escalating demand for our accommodation has left us with no choice but to turn away families in need. Building a bigger, better House is the only way we can continue to offer shelter, love and support to every family who needs it.

We need you to give a lot of love to help us build our new Ronald McDonald House. The new House will cost more than $14 million, and we still need to raise another $9.5 million from businesses and the community. We need everything from concrete to cups, so every bit counts.
