Ronald McDonald House Wellington is an independent registered charitable trust governed by a board of trustees, managed by staff and assisted by many volunteers.

Lesley Slieker - Chief Executive

Lesley has been with Ronald McDonald House Wellington for 5 years, and is managing the new House project. She also oversees every aspect of running our large home – from meeting the families and ensuring their wellbeing to managing the staff and the budgets.

Penny McEwan - Fundraiser

Penny is responsible for raising the money for the new House and for keeping the doors of the current Ronald McDonald House open. She welcomes talking with anyone who’s interested in helping the House – with fundraising ideas and events or donations.

Brent Taylor - House Operations

Brent started working at the Wellington House in 2007. Some families may remember his smiley face from the Auckland House. Brent ensures that the daily operational needs of the House are met by welcoming families, supervising housekeeping, liaising with the hospital and co-ordinating volunteers.
