Friends give a lot of love...

Both of our babies had unusual illnesses, I guess that's why we got on so well. Marsha just understood, she was my support and the reason why I could cope with it all.

We'd spend all day and most evenings together with our babies in the hospital, then at night we'd go back to Ronald McDonald House.

We stayed in the House for months and months. It was comfortable, safe and secure. Everything we needed was there, nothing was a problem, it became home.

Marsha was my family for all that time, especially when our husbands couldn't be with us. She's one of the strongest people I've ever met.

I spent the day with Marsha and her daughter Portia the day before she died.

You can't go through what we went through without becoming friends. We couldn't have formed our friendship without the House. We'll be friends forever.
